28 mm pewter

Finally!! We managed to get the original designs for El Cid and his rearing stallion out as single pieces. 

The poses for both have been quite a challenge but we wanted to keep as true to the original intentions of the designer in coming up with such a dramatic figure .

We think he's stunning whether you use him as intended or maybe as a  King of Men for LOTR and other fantasy roles. 

His sword hand is separate to be glued in place and the body is separate from the horse. At the moment, we only include a small slotted resin base as per the photo, as an option, but the front and rear feet have pegs connecting to the slot-bars that we leave in place  for strength during shipping,  so  you can easily cut the rear one to give you extended pegs to glue into holes on any base.   We're working on building in a complete metal base .. coming soon !

(As a drillable base,  we also offer a choice of  2mm mdf bases  - our own take on the standard 50 x 25mm gaming base , but with rounded corners, so they fit in a standard formation but look better if used stand-alone, or,  a 40mm round version for those using the figures in fantasy/LOTR mode :-)

There is also a choice of shields including blank versions so you can choose to add a decal instead.

NB 1 !! : You are buying the unpainted bare metal items as shown in the actual product photo ... they do NOT come with bases unless you select that optional extra.

NB 2 !! : Due to the nature of metal casting, finally assembly may require superglue and probably a small file or drill for making parts fit neatly etc ..... (we say this as standard, but this weapon hand fits quite well )
