DECALS and SHIELDS
We are trialing the idea of making available waterslide decals for the shields that we sell, so that you can get all the bits you need to create some great-looking figures in one place...
We'll add more options on this page as they become available .
We're especially pleased to be representing the new and great-looking range of Heraldic Studio based in Bosnia Herzegovina . We are aiming to make his whole range available in the UK as it continues to grow.
Basecoat your shields as white as possible to get the best colour and effect where weathering is included in the decal design.
Once dry, cut the decals out neatly, then dip them in a dish of warm water to release the decal from the backing paper . Wet the basecoated shield very slightly to help with sliding the decal off the backing paper into final position .
We usually then use a wet paint brush to lift any folded edges or finally flatten the decal, and then wrap any overrunning edges, flat to the sides of the shield.
When dry seal with a silk or matt varnish.
